Run, run as fast as you can... if a dealership tries to use US Bank for your leased vehicle, run like heck or you will live to regret it! I'm not sure why the Honda dealership used US Bank to finance my lease instead of their own financial institution (probably because the finance manager received a personal financial incentive from the bank). I have been leasing for the past 15 years with a variety of cars including Ford, Subaru, Volkswagen, Nissan, and Honda. I do a 36-month lease that at the end of each lease, I use the leased car as a trade-in for the next lease. A lease has a guaranteed residual value (the amount the car is worth after 3 years). However, when I tried to trade in the car leased through US Bank, the bank quoted the purchase price to the dealership as $10,000 over the residual value, making it impossible for me to trade it in because it looks like I am upside down in the vehicle. Leasing is supposed to prevent people who get new cars every 2-3 years from having this problem! This just happened and I will get to the bottom of it because I'm not sure how this can even be legal; either way, it is definitely unethical. Stay away from US Bank! They are unethical, money-hungry manipulators that can't be trusted for your financial needs. Worst financial institution ever. Like I said... run! P.S. I'm coming for you, US Bank!

Purchased the car after the lease with this bank. They proposed a program that they called "loyalty" for some reason; it's when they add 20% to your car's value if you purchase through another bank. The loan rates they offered were much higher than those of any other bank. They are not nationwide and send a quote that is valid for 10 days via regular mail, so it remains valid only for 2-3 days after you receive it. You have to deliver a cashier's check back within the validity period. There is no option to pay electronically, and they don't have branches in Texas but dare to provide leasing services through Texan dealerships. This is the worst experience I have ever had. I recommend avoiding this bank at all costs.

US Bank is garbage!! If I could give it 0 stars I would! I don’t bank here, but my dad did and he recently passed away. He had accounts at 3 different banks and the other 2 have been amazing to deal with. After being escorted out of the bank, the first time and told to get a lawyer, we returned, with his death certificate and probate paperwork and they still won’t help us! I called today for a payoff on a loan so I could take them a cashiers check and again just ran into walls. Will never do business with this bank and would never recommend it to anyone else.

I have an $80,000 RV loan with us bank. I just went to get $20 in quarters for a laundromat while we're camping. They refused me because I didn't have a Bank account. What? I will be taking my loan business and all that interest I pay you somewhere else! Unbelievable

I was approved online for a low mileage auto loan that was easy as pie to do. It was from a supposed stricter loan criteria being US Bank but I was surprised that I got approved

Run, don't walk! These people THRIVE on late fees, and don't care how they get them. Don't be lured by the lower interest rate, they're luring you into an automated situation which you cannot get out of, and which is structured to fail, generated false "late payments" and other garbage. I work in workforce development, and several of our customers have come in with horror stories.

Hard to get ahold of a person! They will cancel your auto-pay and not tell you until you are months late and threaten repossession! I was informed by Wallet Hub that I had an account reported as delinquent, then I had to hunt down which one it was. Had auto-pay set up flawlessly for almost 4 years then all the sudden they stop it and I am late. Try to go to another bank or move the account as soon as you can!!

I have had an auto loan with US Bank for several months. My payment is on automatic withdrawal each month. This month I was notified that my payment was one day late. I immediately made the payment manually via the US Bank app. The following day I discovered US Bank had withdrawn the funds twice. Nice little scam. Worst of all is that the US Bank app will not notify you if you already have a payment scheduled. I will pay off the loan or refinance via another lender ASAP.
